GENERAL SAFETY
For employees, employers and self-employed persons carrying out professional activities on temporary or mobile construction sites. Basic safety training is mandatory for this target group, subject to applicable exemptions such as holding a valid VCA certificate or having sufficient proven experience in the construction sector.
Do you work on a temporary or mobile construction site? This mandatory basic safety training raises awareness of the risks present on construction sites and teaches you how to work safely and healthily. You will learn to take into account risks arising from your own activities as well as those of other contractors working on the site.
You will learn how to identify the main safety risks on a construction site and apply the appropriate preventive measures. Topics include risk assessment, safety signage, personal protective equipment, safe use of machinery and tools, lifting equipment and slinging accessories, working at height, hazardous substances, electrical installations, fire safety and emergency procedures. Safe behaviour, good housekeeping and keeping the workplace tidy are also covered.
