PREVENTION
For employees who have an interest in or responsibility for prevention and workplace safety within an organisation. The course is specifically intended for prevention advisors who are not required to complete additional Level 1 or Level 2 training, including certain prevention advisors working in Group C companies. It is also suitable for members of the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work and other employees involved in the practical implementation of the company’s prevention policy.
Would you like to work as a prevention advisor or do you have responsibilities for safety and prevention within your organisation? This Prevention Advisor Level 3 basic course provides the legally required fundamental knowledge of health, safety and well-being at work, with a strong practical and pragmatic approach. You will learn not only how to understand the legislation, but also how to apply it to real workplace situations.
You will become familiar with Belgian well-being at work legislation, the Codex and the duties and responsibilities of a prevention advisor. You will learn how to identify and assess risks, determine appropriate preventive measures and work with the Global Prevention Plan and Annual Action Plan. The course also covers fire prevention, emergency planning, first aid, ergonomics, psychosocial risks, electrical installations, machinery, working with contractors, mobile work equipment, hazardous substances and environmental factors. Theory is combined with applied practical sessions and real-life safety cases.
