LIFTING OPERATIONS
This training is suitable for operators with prior knowledge or experience with the overhead crane.
Do you already have experience operating an overhead crane, or do you want to refresh your knowledge? Then our one-day training is perfect for you. In one intensive day, we get the maximum out of yourself and your employees, with plenty of practical tips from our experienced instructors.
You'll learn not only to work safely with an overhead crane, but after this training you'll do so faster and more efficiently. Topics covered include safety and responsibilities of the crane operator, types of overhead cranes and applications, maintenance checklist and basic upkeep, load chart and center of gravity, maximum working load and overload protection, lifting equipment, level hoisting and keeping the load in balance, driving with the load, communication and signaling, and performance improvement. The training combines a theoretical introduction (30%) with extensive practical exercises (70%).
