ASBESTOS
This training is intended for workers and site supervisors who exclusively remove asbestos using the simple operations technique, where the risk of releasing asbestos fibers is limited. Anyone who comes into sporadic or regular contact with asbestos is required to take this training, including the site supervisor. Refresher training is legally required annually.
Do you work with asbestos or asbestos-containing materials using the simple operations technique? Then this training is legally required. In one day, you'll gain the knowledge and skills needed to work safely, professionally, and in line with current legislation.
The training covers legislation and responsibilities, the properties of asbestos and the health risks of exposure, and safe working methods and measurement techniques. You'll learn to recognize potential hazards, assess them correctly, and respond appropriately. Since 2026, at least 50% of the training consists of hands-on exercises in a simulated work-site environment (without real asbestos), practicing the correct use of PPE, respiratory protection, emergency procedures, decontamination, and waste handling. The content is set by law and aligned with the Royal Decree of 19 December 2025.
