Would you like to coordinate safety on temporary or mobile construction sites? This Level B Safety and Health Coordinator course provides the knowledge and practical skills required to identify, assess and manage safety risks during both the design and execution phases of construction projects. The programme consists of 80 training hours and concludes with a recognised theoretical and practical examination.
You will learn about the duties and responsibilities of a safety coordinator and how to apply general prevention principles and risk assessment techniques on construction sites. The course covers safety coordination during both the design and execution phases and the different coordination tools used throughout a construction project. Topics also include lifting equipment, asbestos, working at height and fall hazards, safe demolition work, accident investigation, physical, biological and chemical agents, fire and explosion hazards, electrical safety, site organisation, signage and traffic circulation. You will also learn how to prepare an effective safety report and develop skills in communication, conflict management and civil and criminal liability within the construction sector.
