This course is specifically designed for people with no previous experience operating a reach truck. Whether you are starting a new job, will be operating a reach truck for the first time or want to improve your employment opportunities, this comprehensive course will teach you step by step how to operate the equipment safely and independently.
Are you completely new to operating a reach truck? Then our 5-day basic training course is the ideal starting point. The extended training period gives you plenty of time to gradually learn how to operate the reach truck and gain extensive hands-on experience. Over five days, we build your knowledge and practical skills step by step, helping you become a safer, more accurate and more confident reach truck operator.
The course combines extensive theoretical and practical training. You will learn how a reach truck works, how to perform daily checks and how to drive and manoeuvre safely. During the practical training, you will extensively practise driving in narrow aisles, correctly picking up and moving loads, stacking and unstacking, and accurately positioning loads at different heights. You will also learn the essential workplace safety regulations and how to identify and prevent risks.
