For drivers who want to transport non-exempt quantities of packaged dangerous goods by road and need to obtain their ADR Packages certificate. Drivers transporting dangerous goods in large tanks require the additional Packages + Tanks training.

Description

Do you want to transport packaged dangerous goods by road? This 3-day initial ADR course teaches you how to correctly apply the regulations governing the transport of dangerous goods and how to work safely during transport operations. Theory is supported by practical examples from the everyday work of professional drivers.

What will you learn?

You will learn how to use the basic ADR manuals and numerical list and gain an understanding of the regulations governing the transport of dangerous goods. Topics include packaging and receptacles, transport documents, vehicle markings, vehicle equipment, driver protection and exemptions. You will also learn how to prevent incidents and how to respond correctly in the event of an accident or emergency. The course also includes practical first aid and fire-fighting exercises.
