ASBESTOS
This refresher is intended for workers who have completed the basic asbestos removal training (32h) and must fulfil their annual refresher obligation. Every company active in construction, electricity, plumbing, or other sectors is required to have all employees and the site supervisor complete this training.
Have you already completed the basic asbestos removal training (32h)? As a worker, you are legally required to complete an 8-hour refresher training every year. In one day, you'll receive the necessary update on prevention, safety, and correct working methods for asbestos removal.
The content of this refresher training is set by law. The theoretical part covers: a refresher on regulations, correct use of masks and airlocks, practical risk analysis with attention to compressed air and wetting, asbestos recognition, occupational diseases and measurements, asbestos and health, first aid and emergency procedures when working with asbestos, and waste packaging and sorting. The practical part reviews procedures, materials, and work systems, with attention to ergonomics and the face-fit test. The training is preferably tailored to the internal risk analysis and photographic material of your company.
