ELECTRICAL SAFETY
This training is intended for workers without prior electrical knowledge who, in the course of their work, find themselves near electrical installations without working on them directly. The BA4 training is a component of the mandatory knowledge required for the BA4 authorization, which is issued by the employer. Those who carry out interventions in the electrical panel themselves are better suited to the BA5 Qualified Persons training.
Do you work in the vicinity of electrical installations, without working on those installations yourself? Then you are legally required to complete a BA4 training. In one day, you'll learn to recognize electrical hazards, assess them correctly, and respond appropriately — no prior electrical knowledge required.
The training combines a theoretical introduction with applied practical exercises and a test. You'll become familiar with legislation and responsibilities, basic electrical concepts, low voltage, switching and safety equipment, and the correct use of work tools and PPE. You'll also learn to recognize the dangers of electricity and respond correctly in emergency situations. Special attention is given to the Vital 5: isolation, locking, measuring, earthing, and demarcation.
