Description

Do you want to transport dangerous goods by road in both packages and tanks? This comprehensive initial ADR course teaches you how to correctly apply the regulations and work safely during the loading, transport and unloading of dangerous goods. The training combines the basics of packaged dangerous goods transport with the additional knowledge required for tank transport.

What will you learn?

You will learn how to use the basic ADR manuals and numerical list and gain an understanding of the regulations governing the transport of dangerous goods. Topics include packaging and receptacles, transport documents, vehicle markings, vehicle equipment, driver protection and exemptions. You will also learn how to prevent incidents and how to respond correctly in the event of an accident or emergency. The course also includes practical first aid and fire-fighting exercises.
