For drivers who already hold a valid ADR Packages + Tanks certificate and need to renew it in order to continue transporting dangerous goods in packages and tanks. The refresher course and corresponding examination must be successfully completed before the current certificate expires.

Description

Is your ADR certificate for packages and tank transport due for renewal? This refresher course updates your knowledge of ADR regulations and reviews the specific requirements for transporting dangerous goods in packages and tanks. The course prepares you for the examination required to renew your ADR certificate.

What will you learn?

You will update your knowledge of dangerous goods transport regulations and learn how to quickly find the required information in the ADR manuals and numerical list. The Packages section reviews packaging and receptacles, transport documents, vehicle markings, vehicle equipment, driver protection, exemptions and the correct response to incidents and accidents. The Tanks section reviews the different types of tanks, vehicle behaviour when transporting dangerous goods in tanks, transport documents, markings and safe loading and unloading procedures. The transport of gases, liquids and solids in tanks is also covered.
