VCA (SAFETY CERTIFICATE FOR CONTRACTORS)
Are you a supervisor and do you want to obtain your VCA-VOL diploma? This intensive one-day training is the ideal preparation. In a single day, you'll gain an in-depth theoretical overview of safety, health, and wellbeing at work — from the perspective of a supervisor — and close with the official VOL-VCA exam.
The VCA-VOL training covers the same topics as the VCA basic training, but with an important deepening: legislation and risks are approached from your role as a supervisor. You'll learn about your specific tasks and responsibilities within the hierarchical line, risk analysis and policy management, giving instructions and applying procedures, work permits, hazardous substances, fire and explosion risks, working at height and in confined spaces, safe working with machinery and electricity, and influencing safety behavior on the workfloor. As a supervisor, you are not only responsible for applying the prevention concept — you also carry personal responsibility if something goes wrong.
This training is intended for operational supervisors who wish to obtain their VOL-VCA diploma and optimally guide their team on safety matters. The handbook is not included but is strongly recommended — studying the handbook before the exam increases your chances of passing by 50%.
