ELECTRICAL SAFETY
This training is intended for workers with prior electrical knowledge, or those who have previously completed the BA4 Warned Persons training. With a BA5 certificate, you are authorized to carry out interventions on electrical installations yourself. The BA5 training is a component of the mandatory knowledge required for the BA5 authorization, which is issued by the employer.
Do you carry out interventions on electrical installations yourself? Then you are legally required to complete a BA5 training. In one day, you'll deepen your knowledge of electrical hazards, learn to assess them correctly, and know how to respond professionally.
The training combines a theoretical introduction with applied practical exercises and a test. You'll deepen your understanding of legislation and responsibilities, low voltage, switching and safety equipment, overload, short circuits and fault analysis, and the correct use of work tools and PPE. You'll learn to recognize the dangers of electricity and respond correctly in emergency situations and during maintenance work. Special attention is given to the extension of the Vital 5 to the Vital 8. The training can optionally be extended with an additional day on high voltage or ATEX regulations.
